High Point and Reserve Awards will be given in the following:
Amateur Division Halter Western English
Novice Amateur Division Western English
Amateur Select Division Western English
Rules:
1. Must be a current year member of WAQHA and WQHA prior to the start of the 2008 show season. (new rule for 2008)
2. Award is based on a one member/one horse combination.
3. The WQHA point system will be used to determine point standings.
4. Western Category includes the following classes: Showmanship, Western Pleasure, Western Horsemanship, Western Riding, Trail, Reining, Barrels, Poles and Working Cow Horse.
5. English Category includes the following classes: Hunter Under Saddle, Hunt Seat Equitation, Hunter Hack, Working Hunter, Equitation over Fences and Jumping.
6. Must complete one of the following requirements: * Attend one meeting and obtain two $20 sponsorships. * Work two hours at the WAQHA show and obtain one sponsorship. * Be an officer or a committee member.
